How we use WhatsApp data

We only use the information we receive from Meta and the WhatsApp Business Platform to provide the messaging service to the client business that owns the number. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Connect the number

A client authorizes Connect to manage their WhatsApp Business Account through Meta's official Embedded Signup. They stay the owner of the number and account.

Receive & route messages

When a customer messages the client's number, we receive that message from Meta and deliver it into the client's dashboard inbox in real time.

Help the client respond

The client's team — or an AI assistant acting on their behalf — replies through the platform. We send those replies back via the WhatsApp Business Platform.

We store conversation history and basic analytics so the client can review past chats and measure their own customer messaging.

Who owns the WhatsApp number?

The client always does. Connect is granted permission to manage messaging on a client's WhatsApp Business Account through Meta's Embedded Signup — the client remains the owner and can revoke access at any time.

How is WhatsApp data used?

Only to provide the messaging service to the business that owns the number. We receive messages from Meta, deliver them to the client's inbox, send replies back, and store conversation history and basic analytics for that client. We never sell data or use it for advertising.

Is this an official Meta integration?

Yes. Connect is built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform and uses Meta's approved Embedded Signup and Cloud API. Templates are submitted for Meta approval before sending.

Can a human take over from the AI?

Always. AI-assisted replies are a starting point — any team member can jump into a conversation and reply directly. Nothing is sent without staying inside your control and WhatsApp policy.
